A real conversation about your child.
Not a consultation. Not a pitch.

Most parents who book this call are exhausted. They have been trying to get help for their child with autism, ADHD or sensory challenges and they do not know where to turn next. You do not need to prepare anything. Just show up and tell us what is going on. Here is exactly what the 15 minutes looks like.

1
You tell us what is going on with your child
We listen without rushing you. Tell us about the meltdowns, the focus problems, the behaviour at school, the sleep difficulties, whatever it is. Tell us what you have already tried and how long things have been hard. There are no wrong answers and nothing you say will surprise us.
2
We explain what we are hearing
We reflect back what we think is happening from a nervous system perspective. In plain language. No jargon. Most parents tell us this is the first time anyone has explained their autistic or ADHD child in a way that actually makes sense.
3
We tell you honestly what to do next
We give you a clear, specific recommendation based on what your child needs. Sometimes that is one of our programmes. Sometimes it is the free course. Sometimes it is something else entirely. We will never push you toward something that is not right for your family.
4
You leave knowing exactly what to do next
Every parent leaves this call knowing what is likely happening in their child's nervous system and the clearest possible next step to take. Even if you decide not to work with us, you will leave with something genuinely useful. That is the whole point.
Adi and Dana, founders of Hopeful Neuron, Melillo Method certified practitioners supporting children with autism, ADHD and sensory challenges

Adi or Dana

Melillo Method Certified. Posturologists. Parents.

You will speak directly with Adi or Dana. Not a receptionist, not an assistant. The people who actually do the work with children every day. We are practitioners and parents who have lived this journey ourselves. We know what it feels like to have an autistic or ADHD child and not know where to turn. We take every call seriously.

The questions parents of autistic and ADHD children are too nervous to ask

💬
Is this just going to be a sales call?
No. We only recommend what genuinely makes sense for your child. If that is not one of our programmes, we will say so. Many parents leave the call with a free resource or a signpost to someone else who can help.
📋
Do I need to prepare anything beforehand?
Nothing at all. Just come as you are. If you want to jot down a few notes about your child's behaviour, focus or meltdowns beforehand that can be helpful but it is not required. We will ask the right questions.
🔒
What if my child's situation is too complicated or severe?
There is no situation too complex. We have supported hundreds of families with autistic children, children with ADHD, sensory processing difficulties, severe meltdowns, learning challenges and everything in between. If we cannot help you directly, we will point you in the right direction.
💰
What if I cannot afford the programmes?
Tell us honestly on the call. There are different starting points at different price points, including a completely free course. We would rather you start somewhere than not start at all.

Common questions

Questions parents ask before booking

Do I need an autism or ADHD diagnosis before booking?

No. You do not need a formal diagnosis to speak with us. We work with many families whose children are on NHS waiting lists or whose parents are concerned but have not yet pursued a diagnosis. If you are seeing meltdowns, focus problems, behaviour difficulties, sensory challenges or learning issues, that is reason enough to reach out.

Can you help if my child has autism and ADHD together?

Yes. Many of the children we support have both autism and ADHD, often alongside sensory processing difficulties, learning challenges and emotional regulation difficulties. Our approach works at the nervous system level, which addresses the shared root cause beneath all of these challenges at once.

We are not based in London. Can we still book a call?

Absolutely. We support families worldwide via online video calls. Many of our families have never visited our Mill Hill clinic and receive full support remotely. Book a call and we can work out together what would suit your family best.

My child has severe meltdowns and we are at breaking point. Can you really help?

Yes. Severe and frequent meltdowns are one of the most common reasons families come to us. Meltdowns in autistic and ADHD children are almost always rooted in nervous system dysregulation, not behaviour. When you understand what is actually happening neurologically, everything changes. Book the call. We have helped many families who felt exactly like you do right now.

How is this different from occupational therapy or speech therapy?

Occupational therapy and speech therapy are valuable and we are not a replacement for them. What we do differently is work at the root level of the nervous system, addressing why the challenges exist rather than managing the symptoms alone. Many of our families use Hopeful Neuron alongside existing therapies with great results. We can discuss what this looks like for your child on the call.
