We have sat in that waiting room too.

We're Adi and Dana Latter, co-founders of Hopeful Neuron.

We didn't come to this work from a textbook. We came to it from our own family's journey, the appointments, the leaflets, the six month waits, and the years spent trying to understand what our children's nervous systems actually needed. Everything we built here comes out of that.

The road that brought us here.

We work with children every day now, but that's not where this started. We're parents first, and we've been exactly where you are. Trying everything. Watching nothing stick. Walking out of appointments with a leaflet and a six month wait, wondering on the drive home whether we were doing enough.

Adi came to this work from a background in enterprise software and technical support, a career built on solving one problem at a time, methodically, until it actually held. That instinct turned out to matter more than he expected once he started looking at his own children's development the same way, not managing symptoms one by one, but tracing them back to a single underlying cause.

That's what sent us down this road together. We trained in the Melillo Method, in posturology, and as primitive reflex specialists, spending years learning how the nervous system, posture and movement connect to the stuff parents actually see at home. When you work on the right layer, things actually shift.

We built Hopeful Neuron because we couldn't find what our own children needed anywhere else. Since then we've worked with over 200 families, in our Mill Hill clinic and remotely in more than 15 countries, always starting from the same place. Your child is not the problem. Their nervous system needs support.

The people behind Hopeful Neuron.

Adi Latter

Co-Founder & Melillo Method Certified Practitioner

Adi handles the clinical work alongside the day to day running of Hopeful Neuron, client communications, content, and the systems that keep the practice running smoothly. Before this, he worked in enterprise software and technical support, a background that shapes how methodically he approaches each child's assessment.

Dana Latter, co-founder of Hopeful Neuron

Dana Latter

Co-Founder & Melillo Method Certified Practitioner

Dana works directly with families through assessments, check ins and ongoing support, bringing a steady, practical presence to every programme. Her own experience raising children through their developmental journeys shapes the parent to parent voice that runs through everything Hopeful Neuron does.

Credentials that back up what we do.

We're both trained and certified in the same disciplines, so every family gets the same standard of assessment whichever of us they work with.

The four steps we always follow.

Every programme we build, whatever the diagnosis or the age, follows this same sequence, because each step has to come before the next one can do anything.

1
Brainstem

Safety first. The nervous system has to come out of survival mode.

A child stuck in fight or flight can't listen, can't learn, can't settle. Most approaches skip this step entirely.

2
Cranial Nerves & Reflex Pathways

Switch off the reflexes that never finished developing.

Primitive reflexes that should switch off in infancy quietly get in the way of everything when they don't. Take our free course on primitive reflexes →

3
Cerebellum

Strengthen the bridge between body and brain.

Balance and coordination work connects movement, timing, attention and learning.

4
Cortex

Now focus, communication and independence can actually land.

Not because they tried harder, but because the brain now has the foundation to get there.
