Sensory support that starts with the nervous system, not the reaction.
For children with sensory processing differences, ages 18 months to 18 years. In person in Mill Hill, or remote worldwide.
You've tried the weighted blankets, the ear defenders, the sensory diet from OT. The reason it hasn't fully worked is that most support manages the reaction, the meltdown at the tag in a shirt, the meal that ends in tears, instead of the nervous system that's misreading the input in the first place.
On a free 15 minute call, we'll tell you honestly what we think is going on, and whether we can help.
No obligation. No diagnosis needed. Just fifteen minutes with Adi and Dana.
We know the tag cut out of every shirt.
We're Adi and Dana. Before any of this became our work, it was our life. We know the mornings lost to a sock seam, the meal that becomes a battlefield, the meltdown in the supermarket that has nothing to do with wanting a toy. We trained in the Melillo Method and spent years learning how the nervous system organises, or fails to organise, everything the senses are picking up.
We built Hopeful Neuron because we couldn't find what our own children needed anywhere else.
Does any of this sound like your house?
Most families who come to us for sensory processing support have already been trying for a long time. What you're seeing has a reason, and it isn't about parenting or a lack of effort on your child's part.
Why sensory diets alone only get you so far.
Most sensory support manages the reaction, brushing protocols, weighted items, noise cancelling headphones. It helps in the moment but rarely lasts, because the reaction is a symptom, not the cause. Here's the sequence we use instead.
Safety first. The nervous system has to come out of survival mode.
A nervous system on high alert reads ordinary input, a tag, a noise, a texture, as a threat. Most approaches skip this step entirely.
Switch off the reflexes that never finished developing.
Retained primitive reflexes are common in children with sensory processing differences and quietly interfere with how input gets filtered. Take our free course on primitive reflexes →
Strengthen the bridge between body and brain.
Balance and coordination work sits right at the centre of how the senses get organised and integrated.
Now tolerance and flexibility have somewhere to grow from.
Not because your child tried harder, but because the foundation is finally there to support it.
