What is QEEG brain mapping?
QEEG stands for quantitative electroencephalogram. Sensors on your child's scalp record brain wave activity, and the recording is analysed and mapped. Afterwards you get a parent friendly report that explains what we found.
It isn't a diagnosis, and you don't need one to take part. It also isn't a proven way to diagnose autism or ADHD, and research on using it to guide treatment is mixed. We treat it as one piece of the picture, not an answer on its own, and we'll tell you honestly how much weight we'd put on the results for your child.
