Autism & ADHD Support in Birmingham | Hopeful Neuron
Melillo Method Certified  ·  Online for Birmingham  ·  In Person in Mill Hill, London

Autism and ADHD support for children from Birmingham. Online from home, or in person in London.

You don't need to be near London to work with us. Birmingham families work with us online, and some travel down to our Mill Hill clinic as well. It's for children with autism, ADHD, SEN and sensory processing differences.

Online means the Remote Programme or a Full Picture Plan, which is a remote look at your child plus a plan. You get video check ins and a home programme that we coach you through.

  • You don't need a diagnosis, and we'll tell you on the free call whether online or in person suits your child.

Working with us from Birmingham

Our clinic is at 1A Hall Lane, Mill Hill, London NW4 4TJ. This is how Birmingham families usually work with us.

Online from home

The Remote Programme and the Full Picture Plan run over video. You get a plan for your child, a home programme, and check ins with Adi and Dana.

Coming to Mill Hill

By train, Birmingham New Street to London Euston takes around an hour and a half on a direct Avanti West Coast service. Ask us on the call for the easiest way to reach Mill Hill from Euston.

Mixing the two

Some Birmingham families start online and add a visit later. Others come for a Clarity Day or an Intensive week first, then continue online. We'll help you choose.

Between and after visits

Once you're set up, video check ins keep things moving from home in Birmingham, and we adjust your plan as your child progresses.

Three ways to start

You don't have to decide everything at once. Here's how the options compare, and we'll help you choose on the free call.

Want a whole week? The Intensive is five to seven days in clinic. It costs £3,000 and includes three months of support afterwards.

Which is right for your child?

Some children do well entirely online, with parents running the home programme. Others benefit from us seeing them hands on first. We can't tell which is which until we know your child.

On the free call, we'll ask what you're seeing at home and at school, and tell you plainly whether we'd suggest a visit to Mill Hill, or whether online would do the job.

The online programmes follow the same Melillo Method structure as our work in clinic: we look at your child, build a plan, and you run it at home with our coaching. We can't promise particular outcomes either way. To see how the approach works, read about the Melillo Method in the UK or our guide to primitive reflexes.

What happens on the free call?

1

You tell us what's going on

What you're seeing, and what you've already tried.

2

We tell you what we think

Including whether online or a trip to London suits your child, and which first step we'd suggest.

3

You decide, no pressure

If it's a fit, we'll talk next steps. If not, we'll say so.

Parents first, practitioners second

Our older son didn't speak until he was five, and that's where this started. Today he's fully verbal, has finished his GCSEs, has friends and is independent. We've spent over 20 years in developmental therapies since, and we've both been Melillo Method certified since 2022.

Questions Birmingham parents ask us

No. Our clinic is in Mill Hill, London, and Birmingham families usually work with us online through the Remote Programme or a Full Picture Plan. Some also travel down to see us in person.
Yes. The Remote Programme runs fully online, with video check ins and changes to your plan as your child progresses. A Full Picture Plan is a remote look at your child, plus a plan, and you can do it from home too.
The online programmes follow the same Melillo Method structure as our work in clinic. We look at your child, build a plan, and you run it at home with our coaching, over video. Some children benefit from being seen hands on, and we'll tell you on the free call if we think that's true for yours. We can't promise particular outcomes either way.
By train, Birmingham New Street to London Euston takes around an hour and a half on a direct Avanti West Coast service. Ask us on the call for the easiest way to reach Mill Hill from Euston.
Yes. Some Birmingham families come for the Intensive week or a Clarity Day, either instead of or alongside online support, whichever fits your family better.
The Intensive programme costs £3,000. That includes a full look at your child before we start, the week in clinic, a home plan and three months of hands on support afterwards. Travel and accommodation are on top. If you'd like to start smaller, you can begin with a Clarity Day or a remote look at your child. We'll go through the details on the free call.
With the Intensive, you get three months of hands on support while you put the home programme into practice, mostly through remote check ins. It isn't a clinical review of your child's development. We work alongside you while the new routine settles in, and adjust the exercises as your child responds.
No. Many of the families we work with are still on a waiting list, or haven't pursued a formal diagnosis. If you're seeing things that worry you, that's enough to start.
No. We work alongside them, and you can keep any support your child already has. We look at why the difficulties are there in the first place, at the nervous system level.
Our support covers children from 18 months to 18 years. The Intensive week is usually for children from around age 3, and we'll tell you what fits your child on the free call.

Book a free 15 minute call with Adi & Dana.

No waiting list, no diagnosis needed, and no pressure to commit to anything. Just a straight conversation with two people who've been where you are.
